SELLERSBURG — Silver Creek continued its perfect start Saturday with a 93-47 thrashing of visiting Jennings County.
The Dragons showed no mercy with their offensive attack as 12 different players scored. Zane Gross led the way with 25 points and 10 assists in the win. Jack Hawkins also finished with a double-double (13 points and 10 rebounds). Josh Landers added 10 for the Dragons and Keaton Goss finished with eight.
“I was really pleased with our effort tonight,” Silver Creek coach Brandon Hoffman said. “Everyone came in and did their job. We were able to put a lot of points up on the board and we got a lot of contributions from everyone.”
Jennings County’s Gage Walters finished with 19 points. Travis Wilson pitched in with 11 points for the Panthers in the loss.
Silver Creek (4-0) can keep its unbeaten streak going and make it five in row to open the season next Friday against North Harrison.
